When you went to Mission Impossible 5: Rogue Nation this summer, were you not mesmerized by the special effects? The driving scenes were edge-of-your-seat stuff-- and there were plenty of them. Usually in speedy BMWs.
What made those scenes so great was that there were no special effects.
Tom Cruise was actually driving at break-neck speeds, sliding a BMW around the narrow corridors of Casa Blanca.
In a world where CGI is taking over everything, some film makers have to stand up and say, "We're going to do this for real." It makes the movie more immersive, more breathtaking, and richer.
Sounds a lot like a pre-owned BMW, in fact.
You don't need special effects to look amazing behind the wheel either. Just visit Autobahn USA to test drive a hot used vehicle. You may not be Tom Cruise, but you could drive like him (if you disable all of the traction control features and accept that you're going to be pulled over for reckless driving. Okay, maybe leave the stunt driving to the movies. The point is, you're going to feel awesome in a BMW).
